They don't have a carry weight in most Bethesda RPGs, meaning they will not weigh down your character like a sword or food will -- which makes sense both in-game and out, as they're tiny pieces of metal so close to weightless you could consume a dozen and not even feel it. The participant is encouraged to carry as many of them as possible, because you are likely to have to break tons of guards and trespassing laws to finish all your in-game missions.
However, in many, many things and in this, Bethesda broke with tradition as it created Fallout 76. When that game started, bobby hooks had a burden of 0.1 pounds. I have eaten carrots that didn't weigh much. That issue with the match'design was a bit jaded by 76's multitude of issues. However, for all those who actually intended to carry and utilize them would rather not have to walk round overburdened, it was quite inconvenient. So, maintaining that in mind, you can practically hear the vitriol because two-word notice to Todd Howard.
Whoever this man is, they're similar to the black counterpart to that one gamer who pre-ordered Fallout 4 by simply sending Bethesda a massive assortment of bottle caps, the conventional in-game money. That type of creative thinking wants a plaque, in least -- if not a full size easter egg that is in-game. I am imagining a gravestone in Elder Scrolls VI that reads"Here lies Bobby Pin-dal, a winner of this Daedric lord of passive aggression." By the way, bobby pins in Fallout 76 currently weight 0.01. I have no idea if I could credit this to the person who sent the bobby pins to Howard, but I am enjoying the idea of him dropping them onto a food scale, taking a look at the amount, then creating the Surprised Pikachu face.
